About Joe
I love to collaborate. I like taking the time to get to know the people I work with so we can be on the same page as we develop an image and tell a story. I am pretty good at getting people to relax during a photo shoot so that we can proceed to getting some great shots.
With the help of software (Photoshop and Lightroom) I can place your image almost anywhere. See images under my “Composite” tab. Find your dream location using Adobe stock images and set up a photo session with me to seamlessly insert you there.
I am an ENFP.
I am part of a large family and I love to cook. I have a pretty good food memory so recreating a favorite dish is an ongoing experiment. Before Covid I cooked for around 40 people once a month and am still always on the lookout to bring something special to a meal. I love music. I am a major Beatles fan as well as most classic rock. I play guitar, bass and sing. Harmony is especially fun.
When I am shooting pictures I am in my creative element. My passion for photography, drives what seems like endless energy. I create images in a studio with light modifiers and studio strobes, continuous light and of course natural light.
I received an honorable mention (2nd place) for one of the photos I submitted at the 2018 Portland Squared Photo contest and a merit award for an image submitted to Oregon Professional Photographers Association.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Pepperdine University. I am a founding member of Columbia Ecovillage, an intentional community in Portland, Oregon.
Contact me and we will have some fun. Nine Seven One 226-4797.
